Role Summary
The Digital Software Engineer Senior Analyst (SDET) is a technology/engineering role focused on development and testing of customer‑facing banking and credit card features across digital channels.
Responsibilities- Turn tech stack and application design into code on multiple development platforms (iOS, Android, web/Angular, Java Spring Boot services).
- Use AI tools like Copilot for code generation, refactoring, and debugging.
- Develop and maintain BDD automated and manual scripts, execute them, and maintain test results in a test management tool. Create Jenkins jobs and integrate with CI/CD pipeline.
- Use AI tools to accelerate unit tests, API scaffolding, Angular components, and Spring Boot boilerplate.
- Participate in the entire software development cycle—development, integration, and end‑to‑end testing in a CI/CD environment (RTC, Jenkins, RLM). Automate and enable shift‑left testing.
- Write secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code, and document features. Build SME knowledge across end‑to‑end flows.
- Analyze root causes for application issues and performance concerns; collaborate within the scrum team and with external partners to triage, track, report, prioritize, fix, and close defects.
- Adhere to SDLC control processes and suggest continuous improvements.
- Validate responsive web design and ADA accessibility using screen readers (NVDA, Voice Over, Talk Back), Axe code scan, CCA, and other ADA tools.
- Review metrics, seek improvement opportunities, and support onshore/offshore teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related STEM field, or comparable work experience.
- 5‑8 years of full‑stack web/mobile development and testing experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with functional and API test automation using frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Postman and Jenkins pipeline.
- Preferable experience with cloud‑based development platforms (Open Shift).
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office.
- Self‑motivated, ownership mindset, and excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
