As a Specialty Software Engineer 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting innovative platform development initiatives. What's the Job?

• Develop and enhance high-level Python platforms with a focus on Conda/Conda-Forge environments
• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering
• Review and analyze multifaceted, large-scale, or long-term software engineering challenges
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations by applying in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
• Collaborate strategically with client personnel to ensure platform engineering excellence

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, or education
• Proven experience with open source contributions to Conda-Forge, Pixi Package Manager, and developing Git Hub Actions
• Strong expertise in CI/CD automation, platform engineering, and Dev Sec Ops  practices
• Experience establishing CI/CD patterns, IaC templates, and golden-path repositories
• Knowledge of Dev Ops, Git Ops (EPLX), and DORA metrics with a focus on Conda Python
