SummaryWe are looking for a high-performing Engineer II to join our E-Commerce and Martech pod, working across a modern stack including Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Mule Soft, and headless CMS platforms. In this role, you will be a hands‑on engineer responsible for building, integrating, and optimizing digital experiences. You will work closely with a Tech Lead who will guide solution design, while you focus on delivering high‑quality, scalable implementations.
This is an ideal role for an engineer who is growing into full‑stack and platform breadth, enjoys working across systems, and is excited about AI‑enabled development and quality ownership (TDD – Test‑Driven Development).
- Build and maintain features across:
- SFCC (including headless implementations via SCAPI)
- Next.js and React front‑end applications
- Mule Soft APIs and integrations
- Contribute to integrations between commerce, marketing, and CMS platforms
- Implement solutions defined by the Tech Lead and architecture team
- Translate technical designs into clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Participate in design discussions and provide input based on implementation feasibility
- Own the quality of your work end‑to‑end:
- Write unit tests and integration tests for all features
- Ensure code meets performance and reliability standards
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, test creation, and debugging
- Work closely with engineers, product, and marketing stakeholders
- Contribute to a high‑accountability, fast‑moving pod environment
- Actively participate in code reviews and team knowledge sharing
- Support implementation of tracking and analytics tools such as:
- Google Analytics
- Google Tag Manager
- Assist in optimizing performance using tools like Akamai
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (or similar e‑commerce platforms)
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like Next.js and React
- Familiarity with API‑based architectures and integrations (experience with Mule Soft is a plus)
- Understanding of SCAPI or similar headless commerce APIs
- Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Familiarity with CMS tools:
- Sanity Studio
- Adobe Experience Manager
- Strong attention to code quality, testing, and maintainability
- Ability to work independently on well‑defined tasks while collaborating with senior engineers
- Eagerness to learn and grow across multiple platforms and technologies
- Interest or experience in using AI tools for:
- Code generation and acceleration
- Writing and improving automated tests
- Debugging and productivity enhancements
- Pod‑based teams with strong ownership and accountability
- Engineers are responsible for both development and testing (TDD Model)
- AI is embedded into our development and QA workflows
- Highly collaborative across Product, Engineering, and Marketing
