Archer Developer Responsibilities

• Provide SME support and assist in answering any client queries with respect to applications core capabilities
• The candidate will work with our business partners and analysts to understand the operational processes to help translate the business requirements to technical design, develop solutions and deliver high quality code
• The developer is expected to be a Senior Development Member of the team with strong Java backend experience and proven ability to approach design and build enterprise‑level solutions, ready to step up to the next level and assume leadership responsibilities
• Strong hands‑on experience implementing Web application using Angular 8 or above, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, JSON, CSS, Ajax, etc.
• Strong hands‑on experience on Jasmine Karma
• Strong background with Java Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RDBMS
• Experience in Unix/Linux commands (must) and at least basic knowledge of scripts
• Experience with advanced SOAP/REST client or similar
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment and meet delivery timelines with a high degree of client satisfaction
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
• Ability to operate with limited direct supervision
• Independent judgement and autonomy
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and other team members
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; adhering to policy and applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, while escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency

• Experience as Java Developer and experience in UI technologies including Angular UI
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Working knowledge of consulting project management techniques and methods
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Strong OOPs concept and hands‑on experience with Core Java
• Good understanding of Micro‑Services Architecture, SQL and database understanding
• Good analytical and programming capabilities
• Good knowledge of SQL in the context of a major RDBMS
• Comfortable working with XML parsing including schemas, JSON and third‑party libraries
• Well‑versed with design standards frameworks and experience in working on multiple technologies
• Quick learner of new tools and technologies, methodology such as Agile, Waterfall, Test‑Driven Development
• Tools:
  Git, IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, Maven, Team City, Jenkins, JIRA, automated testing tools like JUnit
• Excellent project management, time‑management, verbal and written communication skills as the job entails simultaneously managing multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive attitude and ability to run projects with minimal direction given the geographically distributed nature of the team

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and job level and additional factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Depending on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of overall compensation such as an annual performance‑based bonus, sales incentive pay and other forms of bonus or variable compensation.
