We are seeking an Android Developer to join our digital platform team for new initiatives. This role involves developing responsive web applications on Android, working through design, development, optimization, and support of critical mobile applications for a large Fortune 100 Financial company.

• Evaluate new mobile methodologies and technologies.
• Develop apps for mobiles and Android devices using the Android SDK and Kotlin.
• Build reusable Android software components.
• Monitor app performance and continuously improve code and user experience.
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, and Backend teams to design and extend mobile products and features.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Coordinate with QA to ensure smooth and bug-free app releases.
• Identify and fix bugs, improve app performance.
• Troubleshoot code for usability, reliability, and edge cases.
• Review code, share knowledge, and support team collaboration.
• Stay updated with new technologies and incorporate them to streamline development.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Android SDK components, patterns, architecture, and version differences.
• Experience with libraries such as OKHTTP, GSON.
• Deep understanding of Java or Kotlin.
• Knowledge of architectural approaches, caching, data storage, and security.
• Problem-solving skills and understanding user needs.
• Accountability, ownership, and a collaborative attitude.
