Overview

Investment Banking and Corporate Banking (IBCB) is comprised of diverse, talented professionals located in multiple regions worldwide. Citi’s IBCB is a technology organization focused on providing best‑in‑class products and services to our global clients, solving bankers’ biggest pain points. The team creates scalable, innovative solutions using a modern engineering stack that includes Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, GraphQL, and microservices.

• Build applications for bankers, demonstrating sound engineering principles across the software development lifecycle.
• Advocate modern software development practices, incorporating privacy, security, Dev Sec Ops  and Site Reliability Engineering best practices.
• Maintain a culture of quality and engineering excellence, ensuring solutions that users love.
• Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting architectural enhancements, process improvements, and new technologies.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project teams—clarifying needs, presenting technical ideas, and explaining development progress.
• Explore existing applications to identify complexity and potential implementation risks.

• Senior Full‑Stack engineer with deep experience in frontend and middleware technologies.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, functional programming paradigms, and Angular.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, No
  
  SQL databases, and Kafka.
• Extensive experience testing user interfaces and building scalable systems.
• Solid background in agile development environments.
• Ability to operate with limited direct supervision and mentor other developers.
• Experience leading design reviews, code reviews, and technical document reviews.

Minimum 6+ years of relevant full‑stack development experience.

Bachelor’s or university degree (or equivalent experience) required.
