The Full Stack Senior Engineering Lead is a senior‑level position responsible for leading the solutioning, design, and implementation of microservice‑based architectures for Inventory Orchestration. This role will collaborate extensively with developers and architects across our Inventory Orchestration teams.
Responsibilities- Serve as a technology subject matter expert for full‑stack microservice architecture, providing technical leadership and direction for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the design and solutioning of robust, scalable, and resilient microservices for the Inventory Orchestration domain.
- Collaborate with multiple development teams to ensure cohesive integration of services, alignment with business goals, and adherence to architectural blueprints.
- Drive the adoption and effective use of AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Devin, Anthropic Claude, Git Hub Copilot) to enhance developer productivity and code quality.
- Define and govern system enhancements required to deploy new products and process improvements.
- Mentor and guide junior and senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Identify problem causality, business impact, and root causes, leading efforts to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Influence engineering decisions through expert advice, counsel, and facilitation of technical discussions and design reviews.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Full Stack Development
Experience:
10+ years of professional experience in software development, with significant hands‑on experience in both backend and frontend technologies. - AI‑Assisted Development:
Deep knowledge and practical experience using AI tools like Devin, Anthropic Claude, and others for code generation, debugging, and as a core part of the development lifecycle. - Backend Expertise:
Proven expertise in developing enterprise‑level applications using Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud). - Frontend Expertise:
Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React and Angular, with experience building complex, responsive user interfaces. - Microservices & API Design:
Deep competency in designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs and event‑driven microservice architectures. - Containerization & Orchestration:
Solid understanding and practical experience with container technologies (Docker) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Open Shift). - Event‑Driven Messaging:
Hands‑on experience with event‑driven messaging platforms, particularly Apache Kafka (including Kafka Streams, Schema Registry, and topic design). - Automation & IaC:
Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code principles and tools, particularly Ansible. - CI/CD & Dev Ops:
In‑depth experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines and tools like Git and Jenkins. - Leadership & Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, articulate complex architectural concepts, and present solutions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience;
Master’s degree preferred.
