Symantrix is hiring a Java Microservices Developer on behalf of a Client to extend a high-throughput services platform. You will build and maintain Spring Boot microservices, integrate with event streams, and ship production-grade APIs alongside the Client's engineering team. This is a contract engagement open to Corp-to-Corp candidates, placed and managed by Symantrix.

Onsite at the Client's Irving, TX location. Open to Corp-to-Corp candidates with their own business entity. The engagement is managed end-to-end by Symantrix; the Client name is shared with shortlisted candidates.
Job duties- Design, build, and maintain Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
- Integrate services with event streams and downstream systems.
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
- Containerize services and support CI/CD deployment to the cloud.
- Collaborate with the Client's engineering team in an Agile delivery model.
- 5+ years building backend services in Java.
- Strong with Spring Boot, REST, and microservices patterns.
- Messaging with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Relational and No
SQL databases with solid SQL proficiency. - Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience on a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Reactive or event-driven architecture.
- Existing LLC or S-corp for a C2C engagement.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field; equivalent experience considered.
Experience- Proven delivery of production microservices at scale.
- Comfortable onsite in a collaborative Agile team.
