QUAD IT INC seeks a Software Engineer in Irving, Texas.
Need master’s degree in computer science, Mechanical Engineering, or related, or foreign equivalent degree + 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer; OR bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mechanical Engineering, or related, or foreign equivalent degree + 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Experience must include skills in ETL development and data warehousing technologies, including designing and maintaining ETL pipelines using tools such as Informatica, Python, and UNIX scripting; working with cloud services including AWS; developing and optimizing data solutions using data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake and Teradata; performing data migration and workflow orchestration; and creating reports and data visualizations using reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects.

Job duties:
- Configure and manage MMS image galleries, including building and deploying Ubuntu 24 images.
- Create and review pull requests to support image definitions and deployment pipelines.
- Plan releases, prioritize tasks, and manage incidents to ensure reliable image delivery.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Bash, Power Shell, and Packer.
- Deliver and support production-ready images for Windows, Ubuntu, and macOS, including macOS 15 and macOS 26.
- Fix and maintain image deployment pipelines, including resolving Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub Actions issues that block image releases.
- Maintain image build infrastructure and ensure images are released smoothly and on schedule.
- Lead and coordinate contractor teams working on Git Hub Runner Images.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve nightly image build pipelines and resolve build failures.
- Test and validate package and application compatibility, including .NET, Java, Docker, and other development tools.
- Reduce user incidents and rollbacks through improved release practices and incident management.
- Work directly with Microsoft and Git Hub engineering teams on critical releases and issues.
- Manage and renew access tokens (PATs) for Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub Actions.
- Troubleshoot internal and public repository issues and provide solutions for customer-reported problems.
