Product Technical Lead; Analytics Platform

Samaritan's Purse is recruiting a Product Technical Lead to join our Information Technology team in Irving, TX. The role involves shaping the technical architecture, guiding a small team of developers, and delivering a secure, scalable analytics platform.

• Design, build, and maintain a multi‑tenant SaaS analytics platform.
• Architect an analytics solution that ensures scalability, security, and deliverability.
• Architect data pipelines (ETL/ELT) between other products and the analytics platform.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a small team of developers, fostering a collaborative, high‑trust, high‑performance culture.
• Partner closely with the Product Owner to translate user needs into technical plans and engage in trade‑off discussions to deliver maximum value.
• Drive adoption of engineering best practices: automated testing, CI/CD, secure coding, and performance monitoring.
• Contribute hands‑on coding: build complex and foundational components, prototype solutions, and help remove technical roadblocks. Implement patterns that improve product quality and developer efficiency.
• Collaborate with other Product Technical Leads and the Assistant Director of Product Development to establish shared technical standards, tools, and engineering practices.
• Oversee the integrity and quality of deliverables, ensure code aligns with architecture, performance expectations, manage technical debt, and uphold reliable deployment and support processes.
• Lead retrospectives, monitor engineering metrics, and use data to drive continuous process and operational improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with at least 7 years of experience in software engineering or data platform development. Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams, designing scalable analytics or reporting products, and delivering complex, large‑scale software solutions.
• Deep expertise in modern software architecture principles, including microservices, API design, cloud‑native infrastructure, and building scalable high‑performance systems. Strong full‑stack development experience across front‑end, back‑end, and database technologies, focused on analytics, reporting, and data‑intensive applications.
• Strong leadership skills with experience guiding and developing engineering teams while also contributing technically to core components.
• Comfortable working in agile, product‑centered environments; able to pivot as business priorities or requirements evolve.
• Experience building or supporting an enterprise analytics platform.
• Experience with technologies such as Data Warehousing / OLAP (Star Rocks, Click House, Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query), ETL / ELT orchestration (Apache Airflow), data ingestion & streaming (Kafka, Apache Flink), containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm), backend and API development (C#/.NET, Java), visualization libraries (Chart.js, Recharts, D3.js), BI / data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker), semantic layers / BI modeling (Cube.js,
