We are looking for a Software Engineer II to develop and maintain custom software solutions as part of our Technology team. Bring your experience and be empowered to innovate.

• Develop and maintain custom software using Neighborly standard coding practices and techniques.
• Create functioning solutions based on technical requirements.
• Ensure tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner.
• Document and communicate application design, topologies, and architecture clearly to peers and the business.
• Assist the team in researching and recommending solutions to meet business requirements.
• Strong SQL query development, including CRUD operations, stored procedures, and functions with standard formatting practices.

• Experience:
  • 4+ years in application development.
  • Data Science background.
  • Experience with Microsoft .Net technologies, especially C#.
  • Experience with SOAP and REST APIs.
• Skills:
  • Understanding and utilization of JSON and XML.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly to new systems.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and strong time‑management skills.
  • Self‑starter who can work autonomously with little support.
  • Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Education:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Hybrid working model;
  Monday–Wednesday in office, Thursday–Friday from home.
• Office locations: 500 E John Carpenter Fwy, Irving, TX; 1010 N University Parks Drive, Waco, TX.
