Software Engineer II
We are looking for a Software Engineer II to develop and maintain custom software solutions as part of our Technology team. Bring your experience and be empowered to innovate.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain custom software using Neighborly standard coding practices and techniques.
- Create functioning solutions based on technical requirements.
- Ensure tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner.
- Document and communicate application design, topologies, and architecture clearly to peers and the business.
- Assist the team in researching and recommending solutions to meet business requirements.
- Strong SQL query development, including CRUD operations, stored procedures, and functions with standard formatting practices.
- Experience:
- 4+ years in application development.
- Data Science background.
- Experience with Microsoft .Net technologies, especially C#.
- Experience with SOAP and REST APIs.
- Skills:
- Understanding and utilization of JSON and XML.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly to new systems.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and strong time‑management skills.
- Self‑starter who can work autonomously with little support.
- Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Education:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Hybrid working model;
Monday–Wednesday in office, Thursday–Friday from home. - Office locations: 500 E John Carpenter Fwy, Irving, TX; 1010 N University Parks Drive, Waco, TX.
