Autonomy Development Engineer

Job Summary

Autonomy Development Engineer – responsible for developing advanced technologies and autonomous solutions for heavy equipment, collaborating with team members to prototype, produce, and support production products.

• Develop production‑quality C++ software, including design, documentation, coding, product quality, and validation
• Contribute to requirements generation and architecture design for advanced autonomous solutions
• Support functional safety software design and validation processes
• Collaborate and mentor team members to execute on goals

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience supporting Robotics, Autonomy, or Automation technical projects
• Knowledge of robotics frameworks such as ROS
• Knowledge of positioning, planning, perception or related fields
• Knowledge of telematics‑based messaging and machine protocols
• Experience in Mining or Construction is preferred

• Full‑time position located in Mossville, IL or Dallas, TX (travel up to 10%)
• Domestic relocation assistance available

• Requires onsite work five days a week

Pay range: $97,530.00 – $ (varies by level, location, and experience)
