Transmit Security Engineer

Hands-on production owner for Transmit Security FlexID BAU and release operations, with progressive responsibility to scale identity journeys into Mosaic. Production stability, release safety, and operational excellence are primary. Leverage Transmit’s AI-assisted orchestration features as available (not AI/ML engineering).

Responsibilities:

• FlexID BAU (Primary):
  Troubleshoot auth/login, MFA/step-up, SSO/federation, recovery/exception flows; debug journey logic, SDK behavior, step execution, and backend REST APIs; inspect execution/state via MongoDB (read-only); maintain runbooks.
• SDK & Integration:
  Integrate/support Transmit SDKs (web/mobile); own SDK-driven journeys, transitions, error handling; diagnose SDK config, token/session propagation, Web Authn issues; use Admin Portal/Sandbox/API Explorer/OpenAPI artifacts for debugging.
• Dev Ops/Release:
  Execute safe deployments (phased/staggered, conditional execution); promote configs across dev/test/prod; integrate journey/config changes into CI/CD + version control; partner with Dev Ops/SRE on logging/monitoring/alerting, rollback readiness, secrets/config security.
• Identity Standards: SAML 2.0, OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC, cert-based trust (TLS/federation);
  Web Authn/FIDO2/passkeys with fallback/recovery.
• Mosaic (Scale-Up):
  Hands-on exposure to Mosaic (prod or advanced non-prod); understand FlexID vs Mosaic; design Mosaic journeys; migrate priority flows incrementally; define reusable patterns/standards/governance; apply Transmit AI-assisted journey creation/recommendations/optimization.

Required:

• 8–10+ yrs IAM/CIAM platform ownership in production.
• Proven FlexID production BAU + Dev Ops/release ownership.
• Hands-on exposure to Mosaic Journeys (prod or advanced non-prod).
• SDK integration + distributed troubleshooting; scripting (JS/TS, Node, Python) for automation/CI/CD (not app feature dev).
• MongoDB querying for diagnostics (no schema design).
