Position SummaryThe Overnight Fleet Associate is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, charging, and performing light technical inspections on Avride’s autonomous vehicle fleet. This role ensures that every vehicle is connected, updated, and ready for deployment, addressing both cleanliness and basic maintenance needs to support daily fleet performance.
Shift SchedulesThese are overnight positions, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Morning ShiftOption B:
Friday – Wednesday | 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Option A:
Thursday – Tuesday | 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM - Option A:
Thursday – Tuesday | 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM - Option B:
Friday – Wednesday | 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM
- Detailing:
Wash and detail vehicles inside and out, including windows, interior surfaces, and cargo areas. - Sensor Care:
Clean and inspect high-tech sensors and cameras according to precision standards. - Charging & Data:
Ensure vehicles are properly charged on-site and connected to the network for log uploads. - Mechanical Checks:
Conduct basic inspections (tire pressure, lights, fluid levels, wipers, etc.). - Light Maintenance:
Perform minor tasks such as replacing wiper blades or topping off fluids. - Logistics:
Safely move vehicles (porter duties) around the lot and in/out of charging bays. - Reporting:
Maintain accurate digital logs of inspections and report any safety issues to the engineering team.
- Driving Record:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (held for at least 3+ years). - Experience:
Previous experience in automotive detailing, porter work, or light mechanical work is preferred. - Tech
Skills:
Basic computer proficiency for data entry and fleet monitoring. - Communication:
Effective communicator, able to collaborate with engineers and remote operators. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in diverse weather conditions (outdoor/garage). - Attributes:
Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and strictly safety-focused.
- Knowledge of vehicle control systems or experience with autonomous/EV technology.

This is a full-time, 1-year contract position staffed via Hire Art. It will be onsite and available to candidates local to the Irving, TX area.
