Fleet Mechanic II – Irving, TX Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, vans, electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Disassemble and overhaul motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and electrical systems.
- Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records.
- Manage ordering and inventory of parts.
- Act as a mentor to the Class I mechanics.
Monday – Friday
2:00 PM to 10:30 PM or when the work is complete
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Total Rewards- Pay starting at $30.39 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $31.96 per hour in the quarter after their 6‑month anniversary.

- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- Between 2 to 3 years of mechanic experience on a fleet
- Must be able to work on all types of vehicles
- Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Able to supply your own set of tools to perform the job
- Basic computer skills needed
- CDL A preferred
- Must have forklift operation experience
