Freight/Logistics Administrator
Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc. (CED), a large, nationwide wholesale electrical distribution company, is seeking a Freight/Logistics Administrator to join the Fleet Department. The Fleet Department oversees the company's overall fleet operations for 700+ locations throughout the United States, including the support of freight and shipping operations and compliance. This position is primarily responsible for handling duties related to LTL, FTL, and small parcel transportation management system administration for all our locations.

Fleet Manager
- Knowledge of transportation / shipping industry
- Previous experience in a similar system administration role
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong organization skills
- Experience in the following areas:
- Carrier relationships
- FTL / LTL / Parcel
- BOL's, Shipping papers, Invoices
- Freight Claims processing
- NMFC / NMFTA
- Transportation Management System (TMS)
Professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods. Routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets

Essential Job Functions- Responsible for administering the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Provide support to the field with shipping issues.
- Assist locations as needed with troubleshooting and guidance on shipments through TMS, carrier issues, billing, etc.
- Monitor freight invoice approval portal in TMS for outstanding invoices to prevent past due or delayed payments.
- Process invoices for payment and provide appropriate allocations to accounting department.
- Support field as needed with training on freight related topics.
- Run/distribute reports for management on TMS usage/performance as needed/requested.
- Support field on issues related to freight claims through TMS.
- Monitor industry updates for NMFC changes.
- Work with field and CED's IT department to ensure all BOLs include correct information, to include any hazardous materials data, emergency response information, etc.
- Provide guidance as needed for issues related to CED's fleet of vehicles for BOLs, shipping papers, etc., for deliveries made on company trucks.
$20 to $23 hourly
