Warehouse Supervisor - Toyota Music Factory

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute warehouse operations and procedures to ensure departmental effectiveness and efficiency, meeting all product, supply, and equipment needs throughout the venue.
• Support the planning and preparation process for events, assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities to warehouse staff under the direction of the Warehouse Manager.
• Maintain the highest levels of safety, organization, and sanitation throughout all warehousing and storage areas.
• Use control procedures for cataloging, inventory control, bulk storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies; assist in maintaining the supply system.
• Coordinate all warehousing activities with the management team.
• Receive, store, and distribute supplies and equipment in large centralized warehousing operations.
• Use storage systems, policies, and procedures to maximize space efficiency.
• Submit reports of damage, outdated stock, over/under shipments, returns, etc.
• Contact vendors to reconcile invoice discrepancies, shortages, over shipments, or to arrange emergency shipments or requisitions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Follow and encourage the team to adhere to safety policies and procedures, report unsafe conditions, complete company-wide safety training, and report all safety incidents into the company’s risk management system on the same day.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• High school degree.
• Two years of experience in the receipt, storage, or distribution of food and beverage, supplies, or equipment, including at least one year at the supervisory level in an entertainment or convention center venue.
• Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.
• Ability to understand written and oral direction and communicate it to others.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Availability for extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
