Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

What We’re Looking For The skills and qualifications required for the Material Handler II are outlined below:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous experience operating MHE and warehouse experience preferred.

Ability to operate all equipment associated with a warehousing environment (material handling equipment, RF scanner).Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work at heights of up to 40 ft.

Ability to work in cold storage (40

F)
Ability to frequently lift 35 to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Must meet DOT sight and hearing requirements.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Ability to work daily and weekend overtime to meet business needs.

Ability to work independently while meeting safety, quality and productivity standards.

Demonstrates reliability and consistently maintains high-quality work standards

Highly detail-oriented with strong ability to identify and correct errors

Adheres to all procedures, safety guidelines, and compliance protocols

Communicates effectively for accurate reporting and timely escalation of issues

Collaborates well within a team environment with a focus on continuous improvement

Utilizes a root-cause approach to identify and solve problems efficiently
