Job Description

Performs the qualification test for Low and Medium Voltage products, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Onsite, Richards Manufacturing Facility (Irvington, NJ)

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop detailed product failure analysis reports.
  • Execute product qualification testing and maintain accurate, thorough documentation of results.

Manage and maintain the test area schedule to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of testing activities.

Support the setup, operation, and ongoing production of electrical test cells.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams to support plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related academic field.

  • Twenty four (24) months’ experience as an electrical engineer.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Hands-on technical aptitude with testing equipment and processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to work independently.
  • High level of reliability, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and statistical analysis skills.
Travel Requirement

Approximately 10% travel required, including:

  • Visits to customer sites in New Jersey and other U.S. locations
  • Travel to additional testing facilities within the U.S. and occasionally Canada
