 CDL-A Truck Driver

Job Description:

* Pick up or deliver building materials using our vehicle from our Irvington,
    NJ warehouse to vendors and/or customers in NJ, Eastern PA, NY (including
    Long Island), CT, Northern DE.
  
* With this position you will be home every day!
  
* We keep you busy!  We offer 40 hours a week minimum all year.
  * $30.80/hr mon-Fri 5am-1:30pm (half hour lunch) + OT which is paid at time
    and a half on all hours over 8 in a day.
  
* Easy to open curtain-sided trailers and newer model tractors – NO tarping

Duties:
  
* Exceptional driving to and from locations.
  
* Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions and
    maintain logs and records according to D.O.T. regulations.
  
* Keep truck and appearance clean and presentable and advise of any mechanical
    issues
  
* Communicate with customer yard staff and company dispatchers
  
* Assist customer yard staff and dispatchers to confirm product delivery,
    inventory and safety
  
* Ensure all required documents for vehicle are in your possession
  
* Ensure medical card and required D.O.T. items are up-to-date
  
* Monitor and report any mechanical issues to your supervisor

CDL A Truck Driver Requirements
  
* Must have a current Class A CDL license (minimum of 3 years)
  
* Current medical card
  
* Clean driving record
  
* Flatbed experience preferred but we can discuss
  
* High School Diploma or GED
  
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs, sit for extended periods of time,
    communicate effectively with customers and supervisor.
  
* Strong commitment to SAFETY, quality and team work.

 Compensation: $30.00 per hour

 roofing & siding one-steppers, specialty dealers, and home centers in New

 Northern Delaware & Maryland.

 MRS was born in 1931, amid the Great Depression. Robert

A. Boyd Sr. rented a
 warehouse in Paterson, New Jersey, and sold wood from southern mills on
 consignment. He called his business Manufacturers Reserve Supply, Inc. (MRS). He
 built a reputation with suppliers and lumber dealers based on trust and service.
 MRS evolved into a premier wholesale building materials distributor based out of
 Irvington, NJ, family-owned and operated by four generations of the Boyd family.
