Learning Evaluation & Analytics Advisor

An electric utility client is looking for a Learning Evaluation & Analytics Advisor who will partner with Organizational Unit leaders, subject matter experts, and Human Resources to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of enterprise-wide training programs.

Position: Learning Evaluation & Analytics Advisor
Location: Irwindale, CA 91706 – Remote (willing to use own device with VDI)
Local to (greater LA area) California for onsite meetings as needed.
Pay Rate
: $38.60/hr. on W2
Duration
: 6 months or longer

:1stshift, M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Lead measurement strategies that demonstrate learning program impact and alignment to business objectives.
• Partner with leaders, program owners, SMEs, HR, and stakeholders to develop training evaluation strategies and success measures.
• Define performance objectives, metrics, evaluation plans, and reporting requirements.
• Conduct job, task, stakeholder, and learning needs analyses to identify performance gaps and business needs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, learning outcomes, behavior change, and business results.
• Design and maintain surveys, assessments, and other evaluation tools aligned to performance objectives and KPIs.
• Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations, and business metrics.
• Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations that drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Develop dashboards and reports that highlight program performance, opportunities, and business impact.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, department leaders, and senior management.
• Provide functional leadership and guidance to analysts responsible for data collection, analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
• Establish and maintain evaluation standards, methodologies, and governance practices across learning programs.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or other related discipline.
• 5-7 years of combined experience in learning and development or training.
• Experience in training and development.
• Experience developing and implementing evaluation methodologies (e.g., questionnaires, focus groups, observations, interviews)
• Experience developing questionnaires with survey tools (e.g., Alchemer, Survey Monkey, Qualtrics).
• Experience using the Kirkpatrick model to evaluate the effectiveness of training.
• Experience analyzing large amounts of complex data.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards.
• Experience developing and delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to prioritize multiple duties/projects, take lead and follow through on all assignments.
• Ability to work well under pressure, adjust to changing priorities, organize a heavy workload, take ownership, and follow through on all assignments.
• Ability to take initiative and accountability for the accuracy of information and for achieving results.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and perform with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal and oral communications skills with proven record of building relationships and communicating complex information in a concise and straightforward manner.

• Experience in developing company-wide measurement strategies.
• Experience creating dashboards using Power BI.
• Knowledge of Success Factors Learning (LMS).
