Chamberlain College of Nursing is accepting applications for Part Time Clinical Instructors to teach in the Bachelors of Science in Nursing program. The college has a history of healthcare education and operates on a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week (Monday–Thursday). It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. This role involves clinical teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities- Implements the College s philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system and profession
- Assumes responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching assignments
- Plans clinical experiences and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering care to individuals or groups
- Evaluates and provides documented feedback to students based on course objectives
- Is available for remediation of students as required
- Orients and maintains current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies with the assistance of agency/clinical personnel
- Develops and posts written clinical assignments aligned with students knowledge and skill needs
- Grades homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work in a timely manner
- May teach didactic course content under supervision of the course coordinator
- Keeps the course coordinator informed of student and agency issues
- Reports to the dean or assistant dean; a course coordinator will provide direct oversight
- Master s Degree in Nursing (Required)
- 2+ years of direct patient care experience in the relevant clinical specialty or content area (Required)
- Excellent communication skills with high initiative and prudent judgment
- Professional Nurse licensure in the state of practice (Required)
In support of pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position is between $65 per hour and $97.50 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on factors permitted by law, such as experience, location, licensure and certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibility.
