Cust Prgm Measurement & Eval, Advisor

Join the Clean Energy Revolution. Become a Cust Prgm Measurement & Eval, Advisor at SCE where you will lead and support EM&V impact evaluations across SCE’s demand‑side management programs. Responsibilities include designing and managing evaluation studies, conducting statistical analyses, and translating results into actionable insights. You will also oversee consultants, manage contracts, and develop EM&V plans for new programs.

Incident Management Team participation: employees are expected to support emergency response and/or business continuity efforts, including on‑call rotation every 4–6 weeks.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in multiple ongoing energy efficiency program evaluations.
  • Execute energy efficiency studies, including process and impact evaluations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and internal partners to design evaluations, plan programs, and forecast savings, costs and benefits.
  • Support market assessment studies that inform future program efforts.
  • Carry out cost‑effectiveness analyses of programs and measures.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to share best practice and provide technical advice.
  • Assist in design and methodology for evaluation studies.
  • Track and report energy savings for Lighting, Non‑Energy Impacts, and other programs.
  • Analyze program results, research opportunities to enhance operations, and contribute to regulatory filings.
  • Ensure protection of physical, financial and cybersecurity assets and proper handling of confidential information.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Seven or more years of experience in demand‑side management evaluation, forecasting, and/or economic analyses.
  • Experience coordinating team members or third‑party vendors/consultants.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in statistics, economics, data science, engineering, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of California’s energy‑efficiency regulatory environment, including CPUC requirements and EM&V frameworks.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including stakeholder management, defining project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resolving issues.
Additional Information
  • This position’s work mode is hybrid; employees will return to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely for the remaining days. Employees are required to work and reside in California.
  • Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records are considered in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and California Fair Chance Act.
  • Position may require up to 5% traveling and field work throughout the SCE service territory.
