Building Automation Design Engineer – Now Hiring
We are seeking a Building Automation Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of HVAC/building controls projects. This role is ideal for someone with BAS experience who enjoys project design, technical coordination, and working closely with project teams in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do- Design control systems, sequences of operation, and project submittals for BAS projects
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and electrical schematics
- Support project teams with system design modifications, as-builts, and closeout documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure successful project execution
- Assist with energy efficiency solutions, equipment integration, and value engineering opportunities
- 2–5 years of experience in Building Automation Systems or related technical field
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls and mechanical systems
- Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, MS Office, and basic networking/TCP/IP
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred;
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree is a plus
- Some travel and job site visits may be required
- OSHA training opportunities provided
- California driver’s license required
