Focus Factory Team Leader

Manpower Engineering is hiring for a Focus Factory Leader with a successful global company that provides piping systems and flow solutions for industries like chemical processing and manufacturing. In this position, the Focus Factory Leader is responsible for new hire training for cell lead and support this effort with production assemblers. This role is also responsible for the production trends, analytics, and facilitating process improvements in their assigned product lines. Additionally, the Focus Factory Leader is accountable to follow and uphold all written documentation within the site. This includes but is not limited to work instructions, critical processing, manufacturing operating instructions, testing, and ISO procedures.

Their assigned production cells must meet both the quality standards and productivity efficiency requirements.

• Responsible for the safety, quality, delivery, and productivity of production assembly cells and testing centers.
• Manage & develop employees through active leadership, instilling company values, development plans, performance management and training metrics.
• Develop and align company/departments goals, objectives and budgets.
• Lead, coordinate, and facilitate daily operations to provide adequate resources, ongoing work direction and problem solving to ensure business goals are met.
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional Goal Meeting (WIG), Daily Management and Gemba to drive cross-functional execution.
• Identify root cause analysis, implement countermeasures, and validate for effectiveness when a near miss occurs.

• Minimum of Associate's degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  
  Strong cross functional leadership skills
• An understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts
• Experience managing engineering documentation
• The ability to lead and coordinate multi-functional team project
