Automotive Service Sales Manager

Purpose & Objective

The Service Advisor role is pivotal to business success. The primary job is to professionally present customers with recommended services and repairs, based on needs, goals, and desires, while assisting in administrative and customer service aspects.

• Sales:
  Successfully present repairs and service to customers based on their needs, goals, and desires, using company guidelines and best practices.
• Customer Service:
  Assist customers by answering questions and inquiries over the phone, via email, text, and in person.
• Administrative:
  Create invoices, process part orders/returns, dispatch repairs/parts as directed by manager/owner.
• Other:
  Fill in on ancillary tasks to maintain shop flow (e.g., shuttle, check‑in/check‑out, picking up parts).

• Sales
  
  Experience:
  
  At least 4 years in any sales role or proven ability to sell.
• Organizational & Focus
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to complete work tasks timely in a distracting environment.
• Computer Knowledge:
  Working knowledge of Windows PCs, typing or dictation at 15 wpm, email usage, common office software.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Fluent English, verbal and written, including telephone use.
