Day position, 6‑8am start time, includes Saturdays, holidays – Sundays Off with another day off during the week.
The RoleReceivers keep our warehouse moving by organizing incoming produce deliveries, working with vendors and drivers, operating equipment safely, and upholding top food safety and quality standards in a fast‑paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receiving Operations- Receive and inspect incoming products from delivery trucks, verifying product identity and quality standards with QC personnel.
- Communicate with supervisory staff regarding any product concerns, quality issues, or discrepancies identified during offloading before entering inventory.
- Offload products from trucks using sit‑down or stand‑up forklifts, electric pallet jacks.
- Rotate and organize inventory according to warehouse procedures.
- Maintain accurate receiving documentation and ensure all products are properly logged into the inventory system.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned to support operational needs and business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of forklift operation experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment entire shift.
- Proficiency with warehouse inventory systems and RF scanners.
- Ability to identify produce quality and perform accurate counts with basic math skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and multi‑task with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work overtime when business demands require (seasonal peaks, vacation coverage, etc.).
- Proficiency with computer programs, including Outlook, TEAMS, AS400.
- 1‑2 years of inventory control and/or receiving experience.
- 1‑2 years of produce distribution experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build cooperative relationships across departments.
