Radio technician

We are in need of a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Isa Town.

As a Radio Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing radio equipment used for communication and broadcasting purposes. This is a full‑time position that requires technical knowledge and experience in the field of radio technology.

• Install, maintain, and repair radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas and associated communication systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions to determine the root cause and implement necessary repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance on radio equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed on radio equipment.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop solutions for complex technical problems.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in radio technology and recommend upgrades or modifications as needed.

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Radio Technician or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of radio transmission principles, circuitry components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with various types of radio equipment, including analog, digital, fixed station, and mobile units.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and use diagnostic tools to identify issues with equipment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical dexterity for handling small components during repairs.

The salary for this position is $1,600 per month.

This job is located in Isa Town.
