Experienced Mason - Isa Town, Bahrain

As an experienced Mason in Isa Town, Bahrain, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing various structures made of brick, concrete, and other materials. Your main duties will include mixing and applying mortar, laying bricks or blocks according to blueprints and specifications, and using various tools such as levels and trowels to ensure precision and accuracy.

To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience working as a Mason in a construction or building maintenance setting. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. You must also be physically fit to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and working in varying weather conditions.

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine layout and materials needed
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using tools such as rulers and pencils
• Use hand or power tools to cut bricks or blocks to size
• Mix mortar according to specified proportions
• Apply mortar between bricks or blocks using trowels or other tools
• Use levels to ensure structures are level and plumb
• Install reinforcing rods or mesh if needed
• Repair cracks or chips in existing structures using appropriate materials
• Clean excess mortar from finished surfaces
• Follow all safety protocols while working on construction sites

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mason in construction or building maintenance settings
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions
• Strong knowledge of different types of masonry materials, tools, equipment, and techniques
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications accurately
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
