Sr Manager, FP&A - Commercial Scientific

Ansell is looking for a Sr Manager, Finance
- Scientific Business to join our team! This role is responsible for financial planning, reporting, and business analysis for the North America Scientific business. Key responsibilities include leading month-end close and financial reporting activities, as well as providing ongoing business support to the commercial team, such as evaluating new business opportunities and coordinating quarterly forecasts and business reviews. The position partners closely with the VP of Sales, Senior Director of Marketing, and Director of SECA, and provides leadership and oversight to a Senior Financial Analyst.

What your role will be? Lead financial reporting and analysis for the North America Scientific business, including sales, profitability, expenses, and working capital. Present monthly performance insights to Sales, Marketing, and Regional Leadership. Own the monthly financial close process in partnership with U.S. and Canadian accounting teams, delivering timely P&L analysis, accruals, and variance explanations. Serve as the primary finance business partner to the Scientific Commercial Unit, supporting customer profitability, new business development, and partnership initiatives.

Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, including sales, COGS, and expense planning; manage forecast uploads and approvals in Oracle/HFM. Ensure data accuracy across management reporting and BI systems, present results at monthly sales meetings, and drive ad hoc financial analysis and process improvements.

What will you bring to Ansell? Education B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance/CPA/CMA. Job Experience Minimum of 10+ progressive financial analysis experience within a multinational organization. Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, with a focus on financial analysis and planning. Experience with financial reporting and business intelligence tools (Qlik View preferred), advanced proficiency in MS Excel, and solid working knowledge of PowerPoint.

Knowledge and Skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to think creatively and present insights clearly to business and executive leadership. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong commercial mindset. Positive, energetic, and collaborative attitude with the ability to influence and partner effectively across teams. Entrepreneurial, accountable, and detail-oriented, with demonstrated leadership, flexibility, and commitment to excellence.

Comfortable working with large data sets, relational databases, and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP); able to translate complex data into actionable insights. Maturity and discretion in handling confidential information and managing priorities within demanding timelines.
