Summary:
Perform a wide variety of reconciliations and reporting tasks related to treasury products within the Securities Operations team. Responsibilities include reconciling all trading systems to the general ledger, analyzing discrepancies and determining corrective actions, notifying responsible parties of transaction corrections needed to balance accounts, performing various securities reconciliations, reconciling the operational bookkeeping system to the general ledger, reconciling collateral control systems against internal records and the general ledger, monitoring exception reports and notifying appropriate teams of necessary corrective actions, maintaining subledger reconciliation and updating internal scorecards, completing tasks with minimal supervision, preparing audit confirmations, compiling monthly and quarterly reports, and performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Compliance includes developing a basic understanding of relevant banking regulations, directing any regulatory questions to the Legal and Compliance Division, attending required annual compliance training, reading and responding to compliance directives as needed, and complying with the organization's Code of Conduct. Qualification includes a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or three to five years of reconciliation or banking experience.
