10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer
- Data Pipelines for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Iselin, NJ. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity.
This role will support a data platform migration from Teradata to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building data pipelines and will be responsible for setting up the new environment in GCP and working with stakeholders in the Fraud and Claims Analysis group. The technical environment includes GCP Big Query, Pyspark, Hadoop, and Abinitio.
Responsibilities:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
- Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges
- Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel
- Set up the environment in GCP and work with stakeholders in the Fraud and Claims Analysis group
- Build and support data pipelines supporting fraud applications
Requirements:
- 5 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
- 4-6 years of experience in the following skillsets:
- SQL
- ETL
- PySpark/Python
- Autosys
- Abinitio
- Experience with cloud technology (GCP highly preferable)
Desired skills:
- Kafka
- Teradata
- Hadoop
- Google Certification
Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
