Social Worker needed for a Child in Need Team in Islington, paying £37 ph!

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its Child in Need Team within the Safeguarding and Family Help Service. This role is ideal for a confident practitioner with strong statutory experience who can manage complex cases and deliver high-quality safeguarding practice.

You will work with children and families where risks are identified, completing Family Help Assessments (formerly Child and Family Assessments), progressing Child in Need and Child Protection plans, and contributing to the initial stages of care proceedings.

• Complete Family Help Assessments to identify need, risk, and appropriate interventions
• Manage a caseload of Child in Need and Child Protection cases
• Undertake direct work with children and families to promote safety and positive outcomes
• Contribute to pre-proceedings and early care proceedings, including:

• Work collaboratively with partner agencies and internal services Maintain accurate, timely, and analytical case recordings in line with statutory requirements
