Child Care/Nanny
Child Minding / Nanny, Child Development/Support
Overview
A lovely family based in Islington are looking for a warm and calm afternoon nanny to care for their 16‑month‑old daughter on a part‑time basis. She is a very social little girl who loves music and enjoys spending time out and about. She is a good eater and is used to attending the theatre and children’s music concerts with her family.
The little girl attends nursery in the mornings, so weekday care will be from nursery pick‑up at 12:30pm until 6:00pm, two days per week. In addition, the family would like one evening shift per weekend, either on a Friday or Saturday, from 6:00pm until 11:00pm. The family love to travel and often spend time with extended family, so their daughter is very comfortable around new faces and different environments.
She responds best to someone calm and gentle, who allows her to approach and build trust at her own pace rather than being overly full‑on. An ideal nanny will be patient, nurturing and confident supporting her development through play and social interaction.
Speaking English, French, Spanish or Arabic would be a bonus, though not essential.
