Junior Fire Alarm Engineer - London
Salary £30,000 - £33,000 basic
Are you an ambitious Fire Alarm Engineer with at least 1 year of industry experience? We are working with a leading, reputable fire and security company in London, known for delivering high-quality fire alarm installations, servicing, and maintenance across commercial, residential, and public sector sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and grow your career within a supportive, professional team.
The role
You will be responsible for assisting with the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining exposure to a variety of panels, devices, and technologies while ensuring all work is compliant with BS5839 standards. Travel across London is required.
Key responsibilities
Assist with installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems
Carry out fault finding, testing, and remedial works under supervision
Complete accurate reports, site documentation, and handovers
Support senior engineers on larger projects and learn industry best practices
Travel across London to various client sites
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 year of experience in fire alarm installation or service
Full UK driving licence
Basic understanding of fire alarm systems and devices
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
Professional, reliable, and keen to learn
