Relationship Banker Responsibilities
- Put clients first and exceed expectations by delivering attentive and friendly service and creating a welcoming environment.
- Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, in person or over the phone, to understand their financial needs and tailor product and service recommendations.
- Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to build trust, ask questions, listen, and anticipate needs.
- Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as the Chase Mobile App, , and ATMs.
- Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to consult clients about banking solutions and collaborate with experts for specialized needs.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
- 1+ year of sales experience in retail banking, financial services, or a related industry with a proven record of establishing new clients and delivering results.
- Ability to create memorable experiences for clients and elevate the client experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with the ability to tailor product and service features to clients’ differing needs.
- Ability to resolve client issues quickly and effectively with attention to detail.
- Operate within established risk parameters and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training.
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- Completion of the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and life licenses.
- All unlicensed applicants must obtain the required licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire.
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
- College degree or military equivalent.
- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Base salary determined based on role, experience, skill set, and location. Eligible employees may receive commission‑based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation in the form of cash and/or forfeitable equity.

Location and CompensationIssaquah, WA – Base Pay: $25.00–$32.69 per hour.
