This is a full time position during the school year. Will follow the Issaquah Schools calendar.
The Issaquah School Based Social Worker is responsible for providing case coordination and delivering a full range of clinical social work services within a high school setting. This includes psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, and resource referral. This role plays an essential part in supporting students' emotional, social, and behavioral well‑being.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide case coordination for students within the high school setting.
+ Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify student needs.
+ Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
+ Deliver therapeutic interventions to support student mental and emotional health.
+ Provide crisis intervention services when urgent support is needed.
+ Coordinate resource referrals to connect students and families with appropriate community supports.

Required Qualifications:
+ Master's Degree - Social Work from an accredited school required
+ Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License upon hire
+ Excellent clinical experience and ability to manage clients in crisis
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Education in working in a school environment or Experience in working in a school environment
Education working with families is preferred or Experience working with families
+ 1 year of social work/counseling with adolescent pediatric and/or adolescent populations
+ Experience in working in a school environment
+ Experience working with families
+ Utilization management experience

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
