Social Worker - School Based Mental Health

This is a full time position during the school year. Will follow the Issaquah Schools calendar.

The Issaquah School Based Social Worker is responsible for providing case coordination and delivering a full range of clinical social work services within a high school setting. This includes psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, and resource referral. This role plays an essential part in supporting students' emotional, social, and behavioral wellbeing.

• Provide case coordination for students within the high school setting.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify student needs.
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to support student mental and emotional health.
• Provide crisis intervention services when urgent support is needed.
• Coordinate resource referrals to connect students and families with appropriate community supports.

• Master's Degree - Social Work from an accredited school required
• Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License upon hire
• Excellent clinical experience and ability to manage clients in crisis

• Education in working in a school environment or Experience in working in a school environment
  
  Education working with families is preferred or Experience working with families
• 1 year of social work/counseling with adolescent pediatric and/or adolescent populations
• Experience in working in a school environment
• Experience working with families
• Utilization management experience
