Join a dynamic Cath Lab & IR team where your technical expertise directly supports life‑changing cardiac and vascular care. In this role, you will assist with a wide range of advanced procedures—including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular interventions as well as open surgical procedures—working under the direct supervision of a physician.
Responsibilities- Obtaining optimal radiographs
- Supporting physicians in a strictly aseptic environment
- Actively monitoring patients with the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Success in this position requires maintaining a strong, in‑depth understanding of complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular equipment and supplies, along with the ability to assist confidently in their use. This role also includes participation in on‑call coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications- Graduate of a two‑year invasive cardiovascular program or successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program
- Upon Hire:
Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification—or Washington Radiologic Technologist - Upon Hire:
National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International—or National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year of previous Cath Lab experience
- 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology
