- Ability to implement behavior intervention plans and collect data in accordance with the guidance of a BCBA.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well within a team and interact professionally with students, families, and colleagues.
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow all school policies and procedures.
- Experience working in a school-based setting.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide individualized support to students.
- Must be able to keep students safe from themselves and others and, in some cases, may need to implement CPI (therapeutic holds) procedures.
