Med Care Manager

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents accurately, safely, and with dignity, in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards. They document medication administration in MAR/TAR, monitor residents during and after medication passes, observe for health changes, and report concerns promptly. Maintaining clean medication carts and adhering to infection control and safety protocols are essential duties.

This role plays a vital part in preventing medication errors, ensuring resident safety, and early detection of health issues.

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document all medication activities
• Monitor residents and report changes or concerns
• Maintain medication safety standards and cleanliness
• Complete narcotic counts and follow infection control protocols
