Data Science - Associate I

UST is searching for a Data Scientist who will collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data.

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and trends
• Develop and deploy machine learning models
• Design experiments (A/B testing) to validate hypotheses
• Communicate findings through dashboards, reports, and visualizations
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, product, business)
• Optimize data pipelines and workflows for scalability
• Stay updated with the latest tools and techniques in data science

• 3+ Years of experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• Strong programming skills in Python or R
• Experience with libraries like Pandas, Num Py, Scikit‑learn, Tensor Flow, or Py Torch
• Solid understanding of statistics and probability
• Knowledge of SQL and database systems
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop)
• Knowledge of deep learning or NLP
• Experience in deploying models (MLOps, APIs)
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking

Compensation Range: $56,000-$84,000

Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short‑ and long‑term disability benefits.

Part‑time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full‑time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part‑time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
