Role Description

Technical Project Manager /
Delivery Manager I

What You Do
  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of replatforming and modernization projects across GCP, Azure, and distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define solution designs, migration strategies, and integration patterns.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Translate technical concepts into business-friendly updates for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Oversee technical delivery across IBMi (AS/400), Java/Spring Boot services, and React

    JS/NextJS UI components.
  • Drive cloud migration planning, Dev Ops enablement, and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need
  • Strong technical understanding of:
    • Legacy Systems: IBMi AS/400 (RPG/COBOL familiarity a plus)
    • Cloud Platforms: GCP, Azure (compute, storage, networking, security)
    • Middleware & UI:
      Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, ReactJS
  • Solid grasp of SDLC, Dev Ops, and Agile project delivery.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale modernization or migration initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience & Education
  • 10+ years of project or program management experience, with at least 5 years in technical delivery.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification preferred.
  • Cloud certification (Azure or GCP) a strong plus.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or high-volume environments.

Compensation and Location

Compensation Range: $118,000-$177,000

  • Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year.
  • 6 days of paid sick leave per year (pro-rated for new hires).
