Schedule:
Tuesday-Thursday onsite - Hours:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST - On-call rotation required
- Occasional nights, weekends, and holiday support as needed
- PR: $50-$70 per hour
The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise infrastructure across corporate headquarters and 10 distribution centers nationwide. This role serves as a senior technical resource focused on Windows administration, cloud technologies, server infrastructure, storage, backup and disaster recovery, and Microsoft enterprise platforms while providing escalation support and technical leadership.
Required Qualifications- 8+ years of Enterprise Domain Administration experience
- Extensive Active Directory administration experience
- Strong knowledge of Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Replication
- Experience with Windows Server environments
- Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and Share Point
- Cloud experience (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Backup, disaster recovery, and data migration experience
- Infrastructure monitoring and performance management experience
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Experience working with vendors, consultants, and third-party partners
- Experience leading infrastructure projects and implementations
- Lead operational support for enterprise servers, storage, and infrastructure platforms
- Build, patch, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise systems
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and operating systems
- Execute scheduled maintenance and upgrades
- Administer Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure
- Manage enterprise file services and storage platforms
- Support cloud infrastructure and services
- Maintain critical business systems and enterprise applications
- Perform backups, migrations, and disaster recovery activities
- Maintain disaster recovery processes and procedures
- Support DNS, DHCP, replication, and directory services
- Monitor infrastructure performance and system health
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues
- Research and recommend technology solutions
- Partner with infrastructure teams, project managers, and business stakeholders
- Train and mentor junior team members
- Help standardize operational procedures and best practices
