Responsibilities
The Facilities Construction Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of Facilities Construction. This role manages the operational budget, timeline, risks, and delivery of daily operations. The Facilities Construction Manager also delivers capital projects in support of key regional and system‑wide initiatives, leads a project team, and ensures key deliverables and deadlines are met. This role has direct reports and is responsible for the leadership of contractors and vendors, ensuring these parties embrace our Mission and Core Values and deliver the project as contracted.
Required Qualifications- Upon request:
Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information. - 3 years of healthcare construction management
- Supervisory experience of both direct reports and/or vendor management to include third party
- Experience with analyzing and negotiating financial terms for vendor services and construction proposals
- Bachelor's Degree:
Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration --or-- - Experience with new construction and tenant improvement project leadership -- or --
- Experience managing multiple teams of direct reports
- Upon hire:
Healthcare Construction Certificate (HCC) or Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) - 6 years of construction management
