Responsibilities
The Facilities Construction Manager is responsible for the daily management of Facilities Construction. This role manages the operational budget, timeline, risks, and delivery of daily operations. The manager also delivers capital projects supporting key regional and system-wide initiatives, leads a project team, and ensures key deliverables and deadlines are met. The role includes direct reports and leadership of contractors and vendors, ensuring they align with the organization’s Mission and Core Values and deliver projects as contracted.
Required Qualifications- Driving may be necessary as part of this role; caregivers must comply with all state driving laws and provide proof of license and insurance upon request.
- 3 years of healthcare construction management experience.
- Supervisory experience with direct reports and vendor management, including third parties.
- Experience analyzing and negotiating financial terms for vendor services and construction proposals.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience with new construction and tenant improvement project leadership.
- Experience managing multiple teams of direct reports.
- Upon hire:
Healthcare Construction Certificate (HCC) or Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC). - 6 years of construction management experience.
