Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13‑week assignment in Issaquah, Washington. The position will start on 06/29/2026 and requires 36 hours per week, 12‑hour daytime shifts.

• Conduct assessments of patients prior to procedures, including reviewing medical history and performing physical exams.
• Assist in positioning patients and ensuring proper placement of EKG electrodes and cardiac leads.
• Assist physicians during procedures, including placement of catheters, wires, balloons, stents, and other cardiac interventions.
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms and waveforms.
• Assist in arterial and/or venous sheath removal using closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression and transport patients to recovery.
• Monitor vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters during catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Support post‑procedure care, ensuring a smooth transition to the next phase of care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, ensuring it is functional and fully stocked.
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and physicians.
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

• Minimum one year of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.

• PALS or ENPC Certifications.
• RCIS certification.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

• Proficient English reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills.
• Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
• Interpersonal skill to work effectively with diverse personnel and present a positive attitude.
• Technical/motor skill to grasp, manipulate, push/pull, and move during procedures.
• Mental capability to cope with frequent public interaction, meet deadlines under pressure, work under supervision or independently, and handle irregular schedules.
• Sensory requirements: visual acuity and effective communication ability.
