RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab Nurse / Interventional Radiology Nurse Assignment Duration

This is a 91-day contract position.

Day Shift: 4x10 Hour (07:00 - 19:30). One weekday and one weekend of on-call requirement per month.

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Nurse or Interventional Radiology Nurse to provide specialized care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires expertise in cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and related procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, communication abilities, and a focus on patient-centered care.

• Administer blood and blood products.
• Perform cardioversion and defibrillation procedures.
• Utilize cooling and warming blankets as needed.
• Obtain and interpret 12 Lead EKGs.
• Assist in catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor patients undergoing procedural sedation.
• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias effectively.
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care teams.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Active compact nursing license honored by all facilities.
