American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and Epic proficiency.

• Work setting is a hospital Labor and Delivery unit with 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Patient population includes labor, preterm labor, low-risk antepartum, and OB-GYN surgical cases
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1–3
• Performs a wide range of procedures including blood/blood product administration, epidural pump management, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, and drains
• Administers high-risk medications including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Attends all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
• Responsibilities span circulating, scrubbing, pre-op, post-op, couplet care, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery
• EMR:
  Epic (required)
• Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Floating required to postpartum and NICU based on skill set; travelers may also be required to float between facilities within the state

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Former permanent employees of any Providence facility other than Swedish are eligible if separated for at least 3 months; former Swedish permanent employees must be separated for at least 3 months and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose the location and dates of that employment
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
• Minimal RTO is expected for this position
