Location: Issaquah, WA

Agency: Cynet Health

Pay: $2,278 per week

Shift: Nights - 3 days × 12 hours

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: 7/13/2026

About the Position

We are seeking a qualified Labor/Delivery RN for a 13‑week contract in a teaching hospital with 200‑300 births per month. The nurse will work nights (3 days × 12‑hour shifts) and provide a full range of labor and delivery services, including high‑risk antepartum, low‑risk labor, and postpartum care. The facility includes 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms.

Responsibilities
  • Circulate OB‑GYN, post‑op, pre‑op, scrub, low‑risk antepartum, and low‑risk labor and delivery.
  • Attend all deliveries, high‑risk deliveries, GYN surgeries, couplet care, and transition nursery care.
  • Administer blood products, cardioversion, defibrillation, cooling, warming blankets, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps.
  • Administer heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate; manage insulin drips and isolation precautions.
  • Perform sterile vaginal exams and manage pain assessment and management.
  • Triage obstetrical patients and maintain central lines.
  • Wound assessment and care, including use of intrauterine pressure catheters.
  • Float to postpartum and NICU as required, based on skill set.
Qualifications
  • Active compact nursing license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, including pre‑term labor.
  • Certifications:

    BLS, FHM, NRP; AWHONN Intermediate; ACLS (preferred).
  • Epic electronic medical record experience.
  • Prior charge or travel nursing experience preferred.
  • Experience with patient ratio and high‑volume teaching hospitals.
  • Proficient in caring for high‑risk antepartum and managing central lines.
  • Additional Skills

    Knowledge of anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, blood product administration, and exposure to low‑risk labor and delivery procedures.
